Glamour Rock and Torontonian John O'Regan aka Diamond Rings released his debut LP Special Affections this year via Secret City Records. This guy is as flamboyant as Prince but only openly gay. The baritone singer has received some special attention amongst bloggers everywhere, his brand of 80s disco meets punk and his otherworldly falsetto a great aural combination. "Wait & See" is my favourite cut off the album, an inspirational song for people out there trying to live out their dreams. O'Regan's vocals are assuredly the highlight.
