Firstly, I'd like to apologize for Offstream's recent lack of blogging. it is UNFORGIVABLE!!! nonetheless, I promise to update Offstream way more frequently as there has been tons of good music around these days. What's unfortunate is Mike Skinner, a.k.a. The Streets, has announced that his upcoming fifth LP Computers And Blues will be last. :( He's claimed the record sounds like the city of Berlin, and has been recently influenced by various forms of electronica and dance, particularly dubstep. There are five songs floating amidst the blogosphere from the upcoming LP, one of which (San Frandemonium) is strictly instrumental and pertains to that growing wave of house/dubstep music we all hold dear. It's a wonderfully produced beat. Hopefully Skinner will change his mind.....?
