Last night at the MTV Video Awards, Kanye West ended the ceremony with a brand new song, "Runaway" alongside Clipse member Pusha T. The performance came after Taylor Swift's surprisingly heartfelt ode to Kanye, forgiving him for his idiotic display at last years' awards, singing "Who you are is not what you did/You're still an innocent." "Runaway" might also be in reference to the incident; Kanye sings "you've been putting up with my shit way too long." It is unclear if he is referring to himself during the chorus "let's have a toast to the douchebags/let's have a toast for the assholes." Nevertheless, the beat is sick, the lyrics are compelling, and Kanye looks awesome in a red suit with an abundance of gold chains. Pusha T killed it as well.
