Los Angeles art rock outfit Warpaint will be performing at Toronto's own Massey Hall w/ Zola Jesus and The xx....weird combination but great selection of good tunes to choose from. Warpaint are finally releasing their debut LP The Fool sometime this year; "Elephants" is taken from their 2008 EP Exquisite Corpse. It's one of the girl band's more experimental tunes, brimming with lo-fi guitar riffs, and gothic vocals. Stella Mozgawa goes bonkers on the drums giving it a bit of a grungy feel. John Frusciante produced the song, as well as the rest of Exquisite Corpse though he's not affiliated with the upcoming LP.
