Robyn's song catalog is a melting pot for musical multiculturalism; from incorporating hip hop to grimy oldschool electronic pop, Robyn has always come at us with full unadulterated swagger. "Criminal Intent," off Body Talk Pt. 2, is classic Robyn, reeking of oldschool dancehall flavour, but also comprising of fun modern electro pop. Robyn raps on this record, just like she did on 2007's self titled masterpiece. Robyn is one of those rare vocalists like Lauryn Hill that can rap and sing beautifully on the same track. Thanks to sirens, synths, and a dope hip/hop bassline, "Criminal Intent" is fucking perfect for the dancefloor.
